This weekend was beautiful.
My entire family was home for the weekend, the weather was amazing, the kids never stopped playing, and of course there was endless snuggles from sweet babies.
We were able to spend the whole weekend together. Nothing better.
When I say the kids never stopped playing Im not exaggerating at all! They ran non-stop the whole time. By the end of the day they were covered in dirt and completely exhausted! It was great.
We spent most of our time sitting around talking, snuggling babies, painting nails, and eating- of course.
Saturday afternoon we took a picnic to Beaver Dick Park and enjoyed the sunshine. The kids loved running free and Grandpa tried to pick a fight with some fast driving college kids- it was embarrassing! (No one was harmed!)
Im not kidding when I say I snuggle and kiss this baby all day long- Im her favorite. I just can't get enough of her. She fell asleep after a long day and I enjoyed her sweet face the entire time, isn't she the cutest thing ever?!
This little Man was the Star of the Weekend! Mr Tommy… crazy story. Tommy was born January 1st, on this day he was named Tommy. Just Tommy. The name fits and he is possibly the sweetest baby Boy I have ever met, he is a flirt and loves to be held and snuggled. So of course, I love him to pieces! Anyway, his dad blessed him this past Sunday, he surprised us all and Blessed him with the name Thomas- say What?!! So now his name is Thomas, although we still call him Tommy! It's confusing but now they have to change his Birth Certificate and the whole shebang- It doesn't really matter, Tommy- Thomas, same thing right?!! Im just thankful we were all there and I got to kiss his sweet cheeks!
My talented Mother made him this blanket for the day- isn't it cute? I love.
And of course we couldn't go a entire weekend without someone getting sick. This little monkey wasn't herself all weekend, she was whiney and started to run a high fever Sunday night. We took her to Community Care and found out she had a UTI, poor thing. Since then we have been back to the Pediatricians office and they had to give her a big shot to hopefully kill the bacteria. They took her blood and put her on antibiotics, right now she is still not feeling well. We've had some long nights and lots of time cuddling. She's dehydrated and miserable- I'm hoping today is better, if not back to the doctor we go. Until then we are spending the day snuggling while watching Frozen- over and over.
And maybe one day Ill be able to get rid of that dang binky!
(Right now she only has it at nap/bedtime, but with her being so sick Im afraid she's had it most of the day!) Parent fail.

And maybe one day Ill stop taking graining iPhone pictures and actually bust out my big ol' nice camera? Oh well, not today- Im just glad that pictures get taken!

Oh my heck that's SO funny that he named him Thomas after our conversation in Boise! He is sure a cute little chunker. :)
Poor Miss Leighton and her sickness, hope she gets feeling better, and until then - don't take her binky away!!
