The Man had a Birthday

I think it is a little strange that my Husband is 34 years old.
I still feel like I am 25, so that seems pretty old- not saying that 34 is old- just saying I don't feel like HE is that old! (That didn't make any sense!)

This Man of ours is pretty amazing.
(I know, all wives say this about their husbands, but he really is!)
He works hard.
He plays hard.
He loves his family and puts us first.
He loves the Gospel and honors his Priesthood.
He makes me laugh.
He helps me whenever I ask- or don't ask.
He puts the kids to bed every night.
He loves me.
He loves his kids.
He loves his mom.
He loves my mom.
He is pretty smart- especially for a Rigby Graduate! :)
He makes me happy.

For his birthday on Sunday we kept it pretty low key.
He ended up staying home from Church due to some nasty allergies (Carmen gets it from him) and  he did end up going into town to get a Allergy shot first that morning. Thank heavens.

I had to go to a few meetings in the morning, but as soon as I got home he opened his gifts. Then after Church we had a little family dinner followed with ice-cream. It was not fancy at all. In fact he let me take a nap! But it was just what he wanted and what the rest of us needed.

I feel pretty blessed to have met this man 12 years ago and despite thinking he was "old," went out with him anyway. He is pretty great.

The day before, (Saturday) we did do a lot of playing. First we woke up and went to the Rigby Stampede Days parade. Carmen was in the Dance Unlimited float and had a blast riding in the parade and Grandma Cody was in the County float. We sat with my family and enjoyed every second.  The Parade itself was really short, we were all surprised at how quick it was over. I love the small town feel and support the people in the town give! I feel like Rigby is a great place to live and raise these kids of ours. We like it were we are right now.
After that we went to Rexburg and for my Sister-in-law Lauren's birthday,  we had a water balloon fight and lunch at Smith Park. The weather was perfect and we spent a lot of time just sitting around chatting ( and getting soaked by the kids!). Then we rushed to Idaho Falls, it was also David's birthday, so we had dinner with Richard's family and Grandma Cody at Sizzler's.  I didnt even get a picture of Randall and Richard on their birthday- oh dear!!

I did take some at the parade.
(A girl I dont know! Carmen, Olivia H., Avery & Leah S.)

Sad that I didn't take any pictures at either birthday parties- what was I thinking!

Anyway, It was a C.R.A.Z.Y day! And busy weekend.
(Now you can see why Sunday all Randall wanted to do was relax and stay home on his birthday!)
