September is still in full swing, I am aware, but for some reason I am itching to get it over with! It has been a crazy month for me and I feel like it is just d.r.a.g.g.i.n.g. along!
Between the Kids going back to School, Church callings, fall photography sessions, painting furniture, and wanting to spend some actual time with my family- it has been busy.
I dont think it is about to slow down either for a few more months!
It's ok- I enjoy being busy.
1. This little Turd and I have been able to spent A LOT of time just the two of us. I do love being able to run to town with her or just lay in bed and cuddle her- she is at such a great age. She pretty much talks none-stop! And if she isn't talking, well... like this picture shows; she is probably getting into trouble! I will say, she did a great job at applying this mud mask!
2. In between some photo editing I needed a little hands on project! I found some frames that were in storage and added some pictures to my hallway gallery wall.
3. The evenings here have been absolutely perfect! We LOVE this time of year. We have been taking nightly bike (or motorbike) rides around the neighborhood. I love this picture of The Man cruising on the 50!
4. Most of my days are spent in these fantastic leopard sweats (Target). Since I don't leave the house very often -due to the kids being in school- I don't really ever get dressed! And I just hate wearing jeans in general!
5. A few Saturdays ago I was cleaning out our storage room and found my old American Girl doll, Carmen thought it was Christmas! She has latched onto her and has been very careful to take extra good care of her for me. (Im so glad I kept her and all her accessories!)
6. The Taylor family had a Birthday party for Grandma Cody one Sunday and afterwards we did sparklers! The kids loved it- I think we should do them for every birthday!
7. We've spent a few nights at Grandpa and Grandma Kunz's with cousins just enjoying the weather sitting around the fire. These girls just want to cuddle with Grandpa the whole time.
8. Again- my cute little sidekick.
9. After sitting in my garage for almost 3 years- I finally tackled making a display case for this great Mack truck Grill- it is now hanging proudly in his room. (Post about it later)
10. This girl comes home from Kindergarten completely exhausted most days! If I can get her to take a quick nap she is ok- if not, well- watch out!
11. One night my family had a hour long group text- which included some pretty amazing selfies- these two ended the night with some pretty fantastic ones! I haven't laughed that hard in a very long time. I have a new found love for group texts!
12. This girl- Beth- committed with a spit-shake to help each other with a little weight loss motivation! We started off with a sweaty night at zumba, which is always a good time. Now we just got to keep it up! So far for me- Im doing pretty good.
13. I bought the first Halloween crafts of the year and let the kids paint their little hearts out- then I went and took a nap!
14. Picture day at school, I let them pick out what they wanted to wear. Its always fun to see how much they have grown by the end of the year. These two are LOVING their teachers this year, they love going to school and are doing really great so far.
15. Again- my sidekick. She just wants to ride her bike all.day.long. Most days I give up the fight and let her.
16. Watercoloring happened for the 3 kiddos- it was a mess, which is why I choose not to do stuff like that very often. But it was fun to do and they actually painted for a few hours- I might be on to something?!
That has been a glimpse of what our September has looked like. Now just add a bunch of pictures of me shooting family photo sessions and then sitting in front of this computer editing for hours and you will see what the rest of my month looks like!
I won't complain- I enjoy it!
You can go HERE to see some of the sessions I've posted this far!
