{May Happenings}

It is already Mid-May!!
My friend asked me yesterday, "What have you been doing lately, I haven't heard from you in a while?!"
It made me think... What have I been doing?
Nothing? I don't know really.
Mainly a lot of rainy days spend inside crossing things off our to-do list!
I've been in a little bit of a "funk" the last few weeks when it comes to blogging! I have a love/hate relationship with it! I love my keeping a document of all our personal things, I love having a way to express myself, and I love the inspiration that blogs can give! But- sometimes I don't like blogging at all!
So when I get feeling this way I have to take a few days and turn the computer off! Hence the lack of blogging lately!

Anyway, so the last few weeks have looked a little like this...

 1. I'm trying to quit- It sucks. (Im beginning to think it's not worth it!)
2. Little Leighton had the flu and was down for a few days, it was awful. Puke everywhere.
3. We've been spending a lot of time with Uncle Kyle, my kids adore him. Its been fun to have him around so much. We are trying to find him a home or rental or someplace to live in!! Anyone know of anything?!! They are moving back in a few weeks and we are having zero luck! I told him they could move in with us, but they don't really like that idea!
4. Mack had turned into a mature child and helps me so much- especially with this little sister of his.
5. My dad bought the grandkids a pony- his name is Apple Blossom, but we call him "cough drop!" Inside joke. He is kind of wild so it might be a while before the kids actually ride him!
-- and side note-- My dad does resemble President Uchtdorf quite well! Right?
6. I might have sold my dining room table and chairs without telling The Man. Now I need to figure out what to replace it with!!
7. I was bored, so I did a little project in my garage! (More about that coming soon.)
8. My cousin Scott gave Mack his kids old 50 motorcycle- its been fun watching Mack learn to ride it and I had my own fun on it as well.
9. He is a pro and takes it very seriously!
10. We cleaned out our storage room and under the stairs closet, now the kids have claimed that space  as their "secret fort." They actually play in there for hours! Im thinking it will stay empty for a while!
11. We spent a afternoon enjoying the sunshine and let the kids roam free at Grandma Kunz's this week. This little bug is turning 1 in a few days and growing up to fast! I can't kiss her face enough!
12. Miss Carmen had Dance pictures last week and loved getting all dolled up.
13. Posing like a pro- she knew just what to do!
14. We had Mother's day dinner at Grandma Cody's with the family. My nephew Bo (who is 1!) is as big as Leighton! These two are trouble!! He kind of has me wrapped around his finger!
15. A new nephew is a perfect reason to go fabric shopping! I found just what I was looking for at The Ribbon Retreat in Shelley.
16. This girl is starting to Read?! What?! She is so smart and really excited to start Kindergarten in the fall! I dont know how I really feel about it all.

But...
the best thing that has happened in the last few weeks would have to be the birth of the newest Kunz member, Quaid James!

His mom is a rockstar and went into labor a little early! Making it a long night/day of fast driving for his daddy! Lexie had the baby all by herself on Mother's day, Kyle arrived a few hours later.
It was a emotional day.
But Lexie handled it with amazing grace- I would have been a hot mess!
We all were here in Idaho wishing there was more we could do to help, and anxiously waiting for pictures of this cute little monkey! He came into the world 7 lbs. 10 oz, and only 18  3/4 inches long!

I can't wait for them to get moved here in the next few weeks so I can snuggle this little face! Isn't he the cutest? Oh man- I might be a little bias but I have some serious cute nieces and nephews!

So there you go.
We have been busy just taking life as it comes.
One day at a time.

Are you authorized to ride a small motorbike like that? I feel like you're violating a law or something...

Yay for Lexie and Kyle having their baby, too bad she was on her own though, so sad! He's a cute little guy!

Why are you trying to give up Diet Coke? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard!
