{Last day of 1st Grade}

 May 30th was Mack's last day of the 1st grade! Although I'd like to say that he was so excited for school to be over- he was not! He was pretty emotional that whole day, in fact not long after getting off the bus he broke into tears, when I asked what was wrong he said, "I dont want to be done with school, I dont want to leave Ms. Tonks!" Talk about heart breaking!! So to say that he LOVES school is a bit of a understatement! When I asked how school was he said it was sad, all they did was cry!! I guess that shows you how great his teacher is!! He adores them, Ms. Tonks and Mrs. Ricks. He is such a routine child that he thrives in a school setting. I'm sure in a few days he will no longer be sad that school is out!

I tried to get a picture of him before the bus came that morning- but the sun was so bright!!
He really has grown up so much this past year, he is such a mature kid and super responsible! He usually has to remind me about his homework or things that need to be turned in!! He is a great student and above average on his scores- I give 100% credit to his amazing teachers for this. They really do deserve more recognition in all the time and love they give these kids.  The Spanish program has been great for Mack and we are pretty grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it.

On the last day, Friday, they only had a half day, so as the bus pulled up to let them off a bunch of our neighborhood mom's were hiding and attacked the kids with silly string and water balloons! I stood back and filmed it! We really do live in such a amazing place!

He thought that was the best thing ever!
Then we headed to Rexburg to play in the water with cousins and enjoy the sunshine.

 It was a great day! The weather was amazing and the kids loved being outside. That evening we went to the Rexburg Farmer's Market and then took the kids to Malificent as their end of the year reward! It was AMAZING! I think it might be my new favorite movie! The kids loved it and the fact that it was only a hour and a half long made me love it even more!

 It's official, School is out!! I need to break out some chore charts and stock up on otter pops!!
