Welcome

a quick Re-cap!

It's JULY!?? What?

June was fun.
July will be busy.
Bring it on.

Here is a quick review of the last few weeks... since I've been a terrible blogger!

Starting from Top Left- Right

  • Barbies. Barbies. Barbies. My kids have discovered these finally and after years of me trying to convince them that they are fun, they finally think they are! However, we have a endless supply of tears over tiny lost shoes and messy tangled hair. (And my kids seem to prefer them naked- is that weird?!)
  • WPFM is still going strong with custom orders, I do 1-2 orders a week. This past month I did this glider makeover- it was tough! But turned out really great. (I might attempt another one. Wish me luck.)
  • Lunch dates with the kids- since The Man is MIA during the summer I feel like a single mother, and I spend most days bribing the kids with lunch or play dates at the park for good behavior.  It's rough.
  • We especially like our play dates that include special visitors like Princess Anna.
  • Last weekend the Ladies of my fam (and new babies) went on a little girls weekend trip to SLC. It was perfect. We stayed right down town and shopped and walked our hearts out- it was also my first time seeing City Creek Shopping district which was really cool. We also ate and laughed our guts out.
  • The crew at SLC Temple. The weather was beautiful.
  • I've also spent as much time as possible kissing this lovely little boys face- he loves me. The feeling is mutual.
  • One day I found my phone had been hijacked and this cute little boy had taken about 25 pictures of himself making some pretty rad faces- oh man! Totally made my day.
  • I'm pretty sure the kids have spent more hours outside jumping on the tramp and playing in the sprinklers than I ever did as a kid. They do this all.day.long. It's fun.
  • We've also spent much needed time at night with a few of our crazy neighbors. They can always make me laugh.
  • Mack decided to separate his shoulder one afternoon doing flips off the couch. He was hurting pretty bad so I was worried he broke his collar bone. We lucked out and it was just some sprained tendons and he ended up just being sore for a few days. He is pretty tough- although I do recall telling him to stop jumping around only moments before it happened.
  • I started running. Yes. It's going to take me a while to get good at it, but so far I've went every single night- except Sunday. (High five) My time is much better than when I started and Im feeling really good about the progress I've made. It really is a miracle. I have always hated running because at first I bust out in hives and my legs itch like crazy- Ive finally gotten past that so so far it's not so bad!
  • The Man and I have been working on a project at his mom's house. He is currently installing crown- which sucks! Pray for him.
  • A picture of the the office we are working on before and then after primer- since then I've painted the whole room grey and like I said before- we are still working on the trim!
  • The kids have been enjoying our little outings- this day we went to the mall to get shoes for Mack. They were really good and it was actually fun to be out of the house for a bit. (Maybe it was because I bribed them with Subway?!)
  • But this is really what we do almost all day- everyday. The neighbor kids come over and they jump in the water on the tramp.  Being a kid in the summer is the best.
