Girls Day Out

Saturday, July 5th, Carmen and I met up with the other Taylor girls and we went out for a day of pampering and girly fun. 

We had pedicures, lunch at Olive Garden, then did a little shopping. It was fun to see all these girls act so grown up and just spend the day together. Cody and Lacey (my mother-in-law and sister-in-lay) had never had pedicures done before like this, so they were both really nervous about it all! It was fun to see them get pampered and I think they both might be hooked now! I seem to have that effect on people! 

The little girls loved it. They loved picking out their colors and getting spoiled. It took a long time to get all 8 of us done and they were pretty dang patient- they just love being together. (And the fact that the place had a big bowl of candy for kids was just a bonus.) 

 Carmen loved it and has held her fingers all girly for the last week, she is such a girly girl. 

I decided to leave Leighton with Randall because I was afraid she would be a beast the whole time! I was so thankful I did because the 2 hours we were there would have been torture if she would have came along. Plus, when I asked if she wanted to go she said she wanted to go with her dad- I was so relieved! 

 I'm thinking this might have to be a yearly tradition.
