Mack's Birthday Party

It seems like our kids celebrate their birthdays for their entire birth month! We tried really hard to keep things simple this year. Mack especially loves spending time with his cousins and family, so that is really all he cared about doing on his birthday anyway. On Friday (before his birthday) we went to Grandma Cody's and were able to celebrate with the Taylor side. Grandma spoiled him rotten as usual and he was really excited about getting to play with his gifts with his cousins.
Then Sunday morning he was up bright and early ready to party! The Man got up and made him sausage and eggs- per Mack's request- and we let him pick one gift to open before his party later that night. He was such a great sport and never whined or asked to open the rest all day- Ive said before how patient this kid is!!
Then at 6 o'clock he was ready for the party to start! My entire family was able to make it and he was again spoiled rotten. He is defiantly loved! He was so excited to get this batman clock- that and a fishing pole,  were the only things he had really asked for. He loved all his gifts and loved just playing with the cousins in the backyard for a few hours. It was a beautiful night and we had a lot of fun sitting around, playing games, eating treats, and just watching the kids be crazy.

We made a camouflage cake with chocolate frosting that turned out really good- it was so good everyone ate it and Mack didnt even get a piece! I felt so bad that I promised Id make another one just for him! He was to busy playing that he missed the whole "let's eat cake" part of the party!

Look at this little Tommy goodness! This baby makes me "think" about maybe having another one- but why would I do that when I can kiss and spoil him whenever I want?!! He is the happiest baby, we all fight over who gets to hold and love on him!

When I asked Mack what he wanted to do for his party he said he wanted to play volleyball- we have never really done this before, but do own a little net. So we put it up and everyone played a pretty long game, it was a lot of fun. The kids are actually really good- and the men get very serious when it comes to hitting the ball hard!

Leighton was wore out by the end of the day- she thinks she's to big for naps! So we get a little whiney and have several melt downs before bed time. It's always fun. She does like being with all the big kids though and thinks it's ok to pull down her pants and pee in the grass- that was a little embarrassing!

Then there is this little Bean, she is fun to follow around and see what she can get herself into- she is very mischievous and loves to get in little predicaments! She makes me laugh- I can't get enough of her cuteness.

Kyle and Lexie's boys never stopped running the entire night- these 3 are little heart breakers; Brenner, Kellen, and the sweetest baby ever, Quaid.

We couldn't get Millie out of this car, so we snuck it in their car and made them take it home! I'll do anything to be her favorite! ;)

We had to line up the kids by age for a picture-because for only a few weeks we have 8-0 year olds all in a row! This is as good as they would do...

Linden (8), Mack (7), Brenner (6), Carmen (5), Kellen (4), Emlin (3), Leighton (2), Amelia (1), Tommy (6 months), and Quaid- Linden is holding him (2 months)

Anyway, he had a great birthday- all he wanted was to be with his cousins and family anyway! (That's what he told me when I asked him that night if he had a good day! That and that he was really excited to have a clock!)
