Christmas Morning 2014

This year, like we have done the past few years, we stayed home and woke up to our own little magical Christmas morning.
Santa made it despite all the snow!

The kids went to bed quickly and we slept in until almost 8 o'clock! That is a big deal for me!

Mack got skis, a basketball, and a Kindle from Santa.

Carmen got a doll bunkbed, stroller, and new baby doll.

Leighton got a horse, stable, a sophia microphone/radio, and lots of my little ponies!

These kids defiantly had a great Christmas. I love watching them and seeing their excitement on Christmas morning.
The Man got his gifts early this year, a new TV and work coveralls, but I was able to surprise him with tickets to Kelly Canyon and a outfit.
He bought me a new vacuum and hot chocolate maker- I love hot chocolate in the mornings! I also did a little bit of Christmas shopping for myself.... I bought me these books and a few other things!

And we did our annual Christmas family photo after the kids were dressed and ready to go visit the Grandparents.

After all that we headed to Grandma Cody's and then to Grandma's Kunzs. They spoiled us rotten as well and we spent the rest of the day playing games and eating. Randall had to go push snow at about 12 and we didnt see him for the rest of the day- which was a huge downer for me. We got almost 10 inches of snow overnight so he had a lot of work to do. He worked straight through the night and got home just after 6am.

But probably my favorite thing of the day was opening this gift from my sister, she draws and watercolors these pictures of peoples homes and Ive been begging her to do one for me forever! She completly surprised me with this!! I cried. I was all sorts of emotional this day and getting this gift made me that much more!

It was a great day. It would have been better if we could have spent the day with Randall- but I can't control the weather. Im thankful that we were surrounded by family and able to spend the day with them. I'm also thankful for board games like "Ticket to Ride" that kept my mind occupied and busy!

This little Bug loves Grandmas Nativity, we kept finding her playing with it and rearranging the people. I wish I could keep her little forever, she is so much fun.
