Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve was a BIG day for our Family.
We met at the Title Company early that morning to sign all the paperwork on our New Property!!
It's official!
We are now owners of this beautiful piece of ground here in Rigby! After a few years of looking, a few failed offers on a home and property, and lots of prayers- we were brought here! And we couldn't be more thankful how things have ended up.
It's hard to see here but we bought 5.5 acres, we are hoping to start the road as soon as the weather permits, then once our home is sold we will start building! Im anxious and nervous about the whole process, but Im really excited as well! I know its going to take a lot of time and patience on my part, but we hope this will be our forever home!

Once that was all taken care of we headed to Rexburg to be with my family for the day.
Grandma Kunz made TONS of food and treats, she had crafts for the kids, and I got lots of snuggle time in with all my nieces and nephews.
My Brother Kyle got a new puppy, Tripp, and they brought him up for the week. He is the cutest, fluffiest dog ever! We all loved having him there.
Grandpa even got Dick and Homer ready so we could go on another wagon ride through the trees. It was fun to be with the whole family and enjoy the warm weather.

Yes- I may have kissed and snuggled these faces all.day.long.
(Melinda and I accidentally dressed Leighton and Emmy up the exact same!! This seems to always happen- and we dont even shop together!) The whole day everyone kept getting them mixed up!
Later that day we had a amazing Dinner- all courtesy of my mother, and we stuffed ourselves!

Then we all sat around and did a white-elephant gift exchange, and the kids got to open a gift from Grandma and Grandpa.

They each got one of these "floppies" hats- they were hilarious, and they loved them.
Then the kids acted out the Nativity.
(this was the only picture I took- I thought I videoed it- but Im a idiot and had it on picture mode, fail.)
After that the kids played a few songs with chimes, that was fun for a minute! Then the adults took over and ended up playing them for a hour! It was actually pretty fun.

We played hard all day so the kids were really tired by the time we left, they all ended up falling asleep on the way home. We were able to get everything set up and ready for Christmas morning and were in bed about 11!
We went to bed with no snow and tired bodies!
