Thanksgiving Weekend

Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, we spent the morning doing a few things around the house. 

I put up the Main Christmas tree in our living room upstairs, along with a few other things. I seriously only put up about 10% of my Christmas decorations this year- and I'm not even sad about it. It feels good to simplify. I thought about taking everything else to DI, but then I got lazy and just put it all back in storage! Maybe next year?!

While I did that The Man and Mack put up the lights outside. 

I may have had a mild heart attack when I went out to see and Mack was on the roof! My whole scared of heights thing went through the roof. (Ha- get it - through the roof!) 

Mack was pretty excited about it so I quietly walked back into the house. 

Then about noon we all headed to Rexburg to my parents house to hang out with my family. 

We had another beautiful dinner and ate way to much! 

After dinner we bundled up and went shooting. We are a little red neck but this really is one of our families favorite activities. My mom even got to shoot her new gun! She's cool like that. 

Then we all went bowling. 

The kids had a great day and ended up spending the night with their cousins at Grandmas house. I'm pretty sure they were up most of the night because thats what you do when your with your cousins right? Saturday they were all pretty ornery and wore out. This little crazy bean slept in until after 10! 

This weekend was great. 

I loved being with everyone on both sides of the family. 

I'm starting to think Thanksgiving might becoming my new favorite holiday.
