I did 2 things this year I don't think I have EVER done before.
1. I only put up this tree in the basement before the holiday! The Man always asks me to wait until after Thanksgiving to put up our Christmas decorations- but I never do! This year I let the kids put up this tree in our basement one day and left it at that. It was a hard thing for me to do- but I was strong!
and
2. I left my camera home on Thanksgiving day.
(Insert sad face here.)
So the only pictures I took were with my phone, and even with that I only took a few.
Even without pictures we had a fantastic Thanksgiving.
This year we spent the day at Grandma Cody's with the whole family.
The kids were in heaven and I hardly even saw them the entire day. They love nothing more than being with cousins and running around playing.
One of my favorite parts of having Thanksgiving at Cody's is seeing her beautiful China- especially her Gold silverware, we all fight over who gets it in the will! Im really trying hard to win that battle! Anyway, the settings were beautiful and Cody went out of her way to make everything perfect, even down to the cute little turkey place cards.
Our kid table is now bigger than the Adult table- and they loved it!
Grandma had some fun crafts and games for the kids- it lasted a few minutes before they were off running some more! I ended up looking through the ads most of the afternoon!
Before we ate Reese read the Story of Thanksgiving
and I tried to get Randall to take a few selfies- we are so serious.
(Im pretty sure I did not apply my high school frosted lip gloss in these - but it appears I did!)
We had a great day together. We ate a lot.
It's hard to write down everything that I feel Thankful for.
This year I am especially Thankful for Randall.
He does so much for our little family and me.
I'm Thankful to be a mom to 3 great kids, I feel blessed to have them as my own.
I'm Thankful to be surrounded by friends and family and be able to see them often.
I'm Thankful to have a home that we are comfortable in.
I'm Thankful for the ability to help provide for our family.
I'm Thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that we are blessed with.
I'm Thankful for the internet and online shopping.
I'm Thankful for Diet Coke and chocolate- they get me through most days.
I'm Thankful for a lot of things.
I did go out and do a little shopping later that day- I may have been in line at JCPenny as the doors opened at 5. It was awesome! I even scored a TV at Target! I got all my shopping done and was home in bed at 9! I didn't even go out and do more on Friday- can you believe it!
