Leighton turns 4!!

I remember thinking on the day she was born that she would be our last. 

Yeah. 

I had no idea. 

It seems unreal to me that she is 4! I still tend to baby her and feel like she should be 2 years old! She is defiantly the baby of the family- but not for long! ;) She is more than excited to have a baby brother and I think she will adjust just fine! 

She acts like a teenager and is pretty tiny for only being four years old! She has a BIG personality in that teeny tiny body!

Leighton has been so excited all summer long to have her birthday! At the beginning of the summer she asked if she could have her birthday party at the Rigby Lake playground- and she never forgot! I kind of threw together a last minute party for her and her cousins, grandparents, and friends came to celebrate. 

Leighton loved the attention and was so excited to see everyone. She was all smiles!

Four

Leighton (we call her Leigh-leigh) is such a sassy but sweet little girl. 

She loves toys, play dough, watching egg shows on the iPad, mermaids, horses, baths, cousins, food, and making messes. She has defiantly been my most mischievous child and makes messes wherever she goes- if she is quiet watch out! She's probably getting into something she isn't suppose to! 

She is also has the best imagination and loves to play with toys. She will play with them for hours and does great by herself. She especially loves her stuffed horses- she has a million, and they all have their own names. 

When it comes to food she will eat most anything! She loves food and can out eat most of us! Her favorites are chips and salsa, bbq chips, corndogs, and steak. 

She loves to go to preschool and primary and loves her teachers. 

She loves to be with her grandparents (especially her grandmas) and her cousins. She thinks she is big stuff around her cousins and copies everything they do and say. 

She is still terrified of most animals except horses! She LOVES horses. 

She loves to dress up and wear my shoes around the house pretending to be a mom. She also carries her babies around and loves to play house. 

She could live in the bath! 

When she grows up she wants to be a dancer! She never stops. 

She hates having her hair brushed. 

She loves to go to town with mom and is a great little shopper. 

She makes us laugh everyday and has such a funny little personality- she remembers everything! She has the cutest little voice and most of her words start with a "w" sound. 

She loves to sing and remembers words to so many songs, it always surprises me, and she is obsessed with country music, especially Chris Ledoux, Western skies! She calls it "the rodeo" song and listens to it over and over. (Her dad is so proud!)
She loves all things "my little pony" especially Rainbow dash. 

She also is obsessed with the iPad, she loves to watch "egg surprise" videos on youtube, Taylor Swift music videos,  and "play dough tutorials," they are weird- but she loves them! 

Leighton is such sweet bug, she loves to give kisses, and snuggle. She rubs her top lip with her fingers when she gets tired and is a great sleeper- she could sleep in until 10 everyday if we didn't have to drive the kids to school! 

Even though she is pretty wild at home, she is shy around people she doesn't know and has anxiety when she isn't around me or her dad. She likes to be at home. 

She loves to ride her scooter and take walks to Grandma Cody's house. 

She loves her daddy and has him wrapped around her tiny fingers. 

When she goes to bed at night she always asks if we will lay with her for "one mo-minute!" It's really hard to say no to! 

She loves the camera and is always posing! 

Remember how she cut her own hair? Ya, it's still pretty bad!

 When Leighton was born I couldn't kiss her enough- I still feel that way. She is the best hug giver and knows just when you need them. We love this little bug so much and can't wait to see her as a "big" sister! I always tell her to stop growing- she laughs and says, "Im twying!" She also uses the excuse "I'm to wittle mom!" To get out of most things, she is pretty dang smart!
