On Sunday, November 29th, Ridge was given and name and a blessing by his father. His name, Ridge Richard Taylor. Named after his Uncle Richard- his daddy's twin brother and best friend.
It was such a special day, everyone on both sides of our family was able to be there, that never happens! Randall, Grandpa Kunz, David, Richard, Mitch, Kyle, Clint, Romero, Scott, and Weston Davis from our Bishopric all stood in the circle. Randall gave a beautiful Blessing and at that moment I was overwhelmed with thankfulness for the Priesthood. Throughout this whole pregnancy and delivery I have been given blessings many times and it is something that I am forever thankful for.
Ridge looked so handsome, Grandma Kunz bought him this outfit and blanket for his special day, and I found these shoes to match.
I was so relieved that he didn't scream during the blessing, he actually made it through ALL of Sacrament meeting without screaming! Phew! (But as soon as we got back to our house he was in full force!)
After Sacrament we all came back to our home and had brunch. All my family really helped us out in providing a great big delicious waffle bar with sausage to eat. Did I mention it was delicious?! It was! We had 42 people at our home and we felt so grateful that we were able to have each and every one of them here. The kids loved running around with one another and the adults sat and visited.
After everyone left we were able to take naps and enjoyed the day in our home.
We are so blessed to have this little man in our lives, he has brought us all so much joy.
