Carmen's First Performance

Carmen has been dancing since she was 3 for Miss Lindsey at Dance Unlimited. She LOVES dance. 

To say that is really a understatement. 

She never stops. 

It makes me really happy to watch her love to dance. 

This year she started dancing on Miss Lindsey's Mini's Performance team, she is the youngest on the team and absolutely LOVES everything about it. They have longer practices and she can't wait for Thursdays to go to them, she would go every night if she could. 

(I only had my iPhone for pics- It drives me nuts how blurry these are, I should have brought my good carmera!) 

She also is a serious poser! 

 They performed one time, then left the stage, then after another grouped performed they came out and did it again! I was so glad, it's hard to film and actually watch, so I filmed the first performance and watched the second. It's fun to watch her because she is so happy performing. 

They had their first performance this past week in Idaho Falls at the Festival of Trees. I think I was more nervous for her than she was- she had missed a practice right before the performance and I wasn't sure if she would know the dance very well! She did. They all did a great job. 

Leighton loved watching and was on the sidelines dancing herself! Carmen was pretty excited that my mom was able to come watch. It was in the middle of the day so I wasn't sure anyone would be there but me, so that was a great surprise. 

Im excited to get to watch her do this a lot more in the next few months. 

I was a very proud Dance Mom!
