We survived! Although it was rough sitting through the 4 hour dance recital this year, it was fun and I was a bit emotional watching the girls. Carmen has really grown a lot this year and is a beautiful dancer. Leighton loved performing and was pretty funny to watch on stage, she basically did her own thing! She wasn't scared at all!
The girls were so excited and spent the entire day in anticipation for the big recital, I think their favorite part was is getting their hair and makeup done and dancing around in the mirror! They both looked so grown up!

Each girl had 2 performances and we were all pretty proud of how well they did. Afterward we went to Wendy's to celebrate. (Celebrate that it was over!!) I've sat through a lot of dance recitals- but this one felt like BY FAR the longest ever!!
Leighton's first dance recital performance! She loved having her best friend Leah by her side, they kept looking at each other and laughing- then hugging. So sweet.

The girls absolutely adore Ms Lindsey, she is the main reason we do this! They were both sad to say goodbye.
This is our last year with Dance Unlimited Rigby, the girls are excited to go to another team in Rexburg next year and continue to learn and grow.
I love that these girls love to dance, it's in their blood.
