May is crazy around here! I feel like I am running a Taxi service since we moved into this rental. Between dropping them kids off to school and then picking them up 3 times a day, dance, doctor appointments, and errands I seem to be in the car most of the day. Which is getting really old! I'm counting down the days until summer!
Mack and Carmen have been super busy with end-of-the-year school activities. A few weeks ago Mack had his 2nd Grade Music program. There were 200+ kids in his 2nd grade class- crazy! He was so cute and it made me super emotional to watch him! (Blame it on the pregnancy hormones!) He is such a great student and tries so hard to do his very best, I love that he loves school so much and that he works so hard.
Then one weekend we took a drive to Island Park to look at some jobs, the kids ran around and played in the dirt.
We also had a busy Mother's day weekend visiting both Grandma's and spending time with family.
After the long day we went to Rigby lake to try out the new Playground- It's amazing, Im sure we will live there this summer! (Yes, Leighton prefers to wear her pajama's most days, I dont blame her!)
It's no secret that my girls are obsessed with dancing, it pretty much consumes their life! This past week their dance studio and a "Dolly and Me" dance day complete with a cute little tea party. They loved every second.
They brought treats and their favorite dolls to dance with.
Carmen ate way to much treats and came home super sick! Poor thing! Lesson learned!
We've also spent lots of nights riding our bikes around the neighborhood and playing in the backyard. I'm actually starting to feel like a human being again so I have slowly gotten back into my daily routines, Im so thankful I can function normal (for the most part) again!
2 more weeks of driving around and making it to practices before we get to enjoy our summer!
The countdown is on!
