4th Of July

We Love the 4th of July!
We did the usual: Rexburg Parade, BBQ at my parents afterwards, the kids played in the water, then we went to the Whoopie Days Rodeo and fireworks in Rexburg afterwards.
It was a LONG day spent outside but we enjoyed every minute.
We cheered on Dick and Homer...
The kids got a little overheated and TONS of candy...
We did manage to get a quick family picture in...

At the BBQ my mom went all out on the food, it was fantastic. We had a few of our friends join us in the festivities...

My favorite part was sitting and holding my new nephew Clay- he snuggled right up to my baby bump and slept like a champ! He did this all on his own- it was perfect!
My mom also set up some fun new water toys for the kids to play in, 4 hours later and they were still going strong.
Then they had a water balloon fight- they all ganged up on Grandma!
And a candy cannon shot a ton of candy everywhere!

I didn't get any pictures at the rodeo! I was just trying not to melt! But my niece and nephew Emlin and Kellen rode the sheep in the mutten busting competition and my dad ran around the arena working all night. It was fun and we enjoyed every minute spent with our family.
The next day we spent a lot of time resting and snuggling babies!
We didnt see many fireworks this year, both my girls decided they were terrified of them, and by the time we started (11:00) I was so tired I could barely open my eyes! We headed home before they were done. We got home really late Saturday night and I ended up going to church alone Sunday while everyone else slept in. #primarypresidentproblems!
I did get a good nap in later that day though!
