We LIVE for weekends!

Right now I feel like everyday is moving on fast forward. Mondays thru Fridays seem to go by faster than I can keep track of!
Everyday I wake up with a list of things that need to be done, and before I know it the day is over! Randall is busier than ever, and leaves most mornings before 6am and gets home usually after 8pm. By the time he gets home I'm ready to lock myself in my bedroom!!
It's hard not to get discouraged with all the running around we seem to be doing, Id prefer to be home working on projects or napping! But instead I feel like the laundry piles and dirty dishes multiply themselves and take any free time I might have. It.never.ends.
Life of a mom right?
It's hard.
It's exhausting.
But I live for the weekends.

Especially ones like this past weekend.
We were able to make a spontaneous trip to Rexburg Rapids, and Randall was even able to come!!! Yay! It wasn't very busy due to it being a little chilly, but the kids didnt care- they are tuff! They had a blast and the two hours we were there was just enough time.

Afterwards we decided to head to Swan Valley and check out these beautiful Falls we had heard about. We thought it would be a little bit of a hike, turns out its about 10 feet from the road! But it was breathtaking, and a bonus the weather was also perfect. I couldn't believe how big the Falls where and how those people were able to climb to the bottom!! We stayed at the top- and held on tight to all the kids!

All of these kids really can't get enough of these two! These pictures pretty much sum up their relationship! It's like they just can't get close enough to each other! We were sad Clint and Lauren had to go home- we really missed them.
Since we were already out and about we decided to grab some square ice-cream, fire wood and hotdogs and have a little campfire in the mountains. The kids were in heaven running around getting dirty. We saw a moose, a few deer, and a bunch of buffalo! However, Carmen cried most of the time because she was so scared a animal was going to come into the camp ground- but we survived!

We made it home about 10 Saturday night and ALL of us made it to Church Sunday! Then after a much needed Sunday nap we went to Grandma Cody's for our July Family dinner.
Mack was the only July birthday, so he got spoiled with lots of cake and treats. Grandma always goes out of her way to make these kids feel loved and extra special on their birthdays, he was so excited to get his cake early!
I still can't believe he is almost 8!

I love when we have a weekend that isn't planned, and I love when we get to actually spend a whole weekend with Randall!
Which ironically- this was the only weekend until School starts that we don't have something going on! It's moving fast! But that just means that we are closer to moving into our new home and bringing home this baby!!

What an amazing weekend! Those falls look so pretty, and I'm glad you got to spend some time with your man and with the rest of your family!
